Expert Interviews: Naketa Thigpen, ThigPro – Balance & Relationship Advisor

“Healthy Brain Rewiring and Reprogramming Process”

Tell us a little about ThigPro and your specialty:

ThigPro Balance and Relationship Management Institute is a Global Personal Development Company, based in the Greater Philadelphia Region. We provide Business Success Coaching, Balance & Relationship Management, Leadership Development, Retreats, and Intensives to fast-scaling entrepreneurs and high performing leaders across industries.

What’s unique about your services?

In addition to the Balance Me REMedy formula that sits at the foundation of our proprietary method, allowing us to accelerate client outcomes, we pride ourselves on creating deep levels of customer intimacy with all of our clients and official power partners.

Why target “married” women entrepreneurs?

There are unique work/life (and LOVE) challenges that fast-scaling married women entrepreneurs face that we are equipped to serve and solve. As the founder and co-owner, also being married for over two decades and understanding the nuances of what it takes to balance love and success without sacrificing yourself in the process, my professional background in human behavior and emotional science sets me apart from others in our industry.

What do you see as some of the biggest obstacles for people today? Why do you think they are in that situation?

Admitting what they truly want. That seems to be the biggest obstacle for most of our prospective clients, regardless of whether they are coming to us for help through the balancing love and success door or the high performing leader seeking personal leadership development door. The #1 reason for this issue is anchored in the fear of disappointing someone or something that is not serving them but holds them bound.

What’s your advice to people facing those challenges?

Be gentle (and) honest with yourself about exactly WHY you are rooted in this fear. Once you've identified it, you can begin to work the steps of letting go of the emotion attached to that root, that's literally cementing you to it. We take our Unbound Brilliance clients through these steps specifically to free them from those anchors so we can move them through a healthier brain rewiring and reprogramming process which amplifies their intimacy with themselves and key people in their lives. Doing this not only strengthens their relationships, but it also frees them from toxic ones.

Tell us about your podcast “Balance Boldly”?

The Balance Boldly for Ambitious Women in Business (and a few brave men) Podcast serves our listeners with the tools they need for moving beyond barely surviving the burnout of work/life, over the narrow hills of imposter syndrome, and through the barriers preventing you from being and doing greater…

How can people find your podcast?

Great question! Fortunately, we are everywhere podcasts can be found from Apple Podcast, Spotify, Pandora, iHeart Radio to Alexa, and beyond. But if they are not familiar with any of those apps, they can head straight to

You have a very impressive background and credentials that come with it.  Please share your journey with us.

Well, thank you, Gracie. Not sure we have enough time for the full journey so I'll note it succinctly. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in Trauma-Informed Care. After a few years of working primarily in the Medical and Mental Health & Wellness side of the clinical world, I discovered quite a few negative barriers that were coming up for people who were emotionally injured by trauma (regardless of the specific traumatic event), one being its deeper impact on their sexual and romantic health and the other being on their ability to create strong, positive relationships, including with themselves. That led me in all my nerd-brain to dive deeper and additional expertise areas such as sex therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, and many additional tools to my helping toolkit. All this was before I decided to expand my ability to help people do more than survive their current circumstances by becoming an entrepreneur, adding breakthrough success coaching and business strategist to my dossier. After a few more years of working my eclectic yet rooted emotional science background into my work, I became known as the #1 Balance and Relationship Advisor in the World, advising some of the top advisors of our day with anonymity and exclusivity that I will never breach.

What are your plans for the future…where do you see your business in 5 years?

Creating a world-renown self-care institute for families is the legacy goal. Over the next 5 years, we want to really refine our tools and go deeper with our clients, to help them create a ripple effect that reverses what they've felt has been a generational hold on their freedom. We'll be adding coaching certifications and corporate train-the-trainer programs to help us broaden the depth of this impact goal.

How did you manage through the Covid-19 crisis and do you feel it has set you back in any way towards your 5-year plans?

Like many people, the taxation of Covid-19 was in adapting to the way it impacted our ability to navigate the new era of networking. We shifted the way we meet people and re-routed the back office system for organizing our follow-up procedures. It actually didn't set us back at all, if anything it propelled us forward faster. Because of that, we see this global pandemic as an unsolicited disruptive gift from the Universe.
